About Us
Teacherarium is a collaboration between Yekaterina Milvidskaia and Tiana Tebelman. We have been teaching 8th grade math at Vista Magnet Middle School for 5 and 6 years respectively. We enjoy challenging our students through collaborative learning and sparking their mathematical curiosity!
We are both Math For America San Diego Alumni. Through this program we have been trained in DNR instruction with Gershon Harel. We have also been fortunate to have received training in Complex Instruction and Mindset with Jo Boaler.
This past summer we were invited to teach at the Youcubed Summer Math Camp at Stanford University. To find out what happens when you combine inquiry maths, rapping Jo Boaler, Taylor Swift, and 87 middle school students, watch the video below!
