Classroom Observations
Over the last few years we routinely receive requests to observe our classrooms. This has been a wonderful experience for us as it helped us grow as professionals, build a network, and reflect on our own practice.

Feedback
We are big believers in giving our students feedback to help them grow as mathematicians. Similarly we appreciate feedback from those that attend our trainings or observe our classrooms.
San Dieguito Unified School Teacher (from our training)
"I just wanted tell you how impressed I was with your presentation today for the middle school math teachers in the SDUHSD district. While I love the great mathematical thinking that happens when students work together, I've never been trained on implementing group work properly, and your presentation today gave me lots of great ideas to feel more confident in this area of my teaching. I especially love that you "train" the students to take the group roles seriously, and introducing them one at a time in the beginning of the year is genius. (I wish I could rewind back to August and do it this way!) I am definitely going to incorporate your Participation Quiz and Accountability Quiz in my classroom as I think they are those key pieces to getting all students to work together, just like you said. I am going to take "baby steps" so that I feel comfortable with the questioning and facilitating, and hopefully be ready to roll out this model in the fall with a new class of students.
So many times over the years, I've attended inservices where I didn't feel that I gained all that much I could use in my classroom. I just wanted to take a minute to let you both know that I really enjoyed all you had to share this morning and I'm super excited to bring this to my students."
San Diego County Office of Education's Juvenile Court School Admin (classroom observation)
"Our observations of your practice have absolutely sparked questions and curiosities. More, you and your students have inspired us to completely rethink how we teach math in our district. Thank you for demonstrating what's possible!"
